Chemitei Janet is an environmentalist who is passionate about advocating for social and climate justice, and enjoys storytelling through writing. She sits in the board of Clean Up Kenya as the Youth Council Chairperson, and is the Africa Regional Coordinator at Threading Change.

She has experience working in environmental education, and her goal is to share African stories and encourage youth development through creative innovation in sustainability, and fashion. Outside of work, Chemitei enjoys crocheting, going on safari and reading books. She has a bachelor’s degree from Kenyatta University in Environmental Planning and Management.
