The Young Africans Network for Global Goals (YANGG) hosted African Leadership Summit 0.2 under the empowering theme “She Leads…” — part of its acclaimed She Leads Series dedicated to amplifying women's leadership and governance across Africa and the diaspora. Held on 3 July 2020 via Zoom, the summit explored the impact of women's leadership on Africa's development agenda and spotlighted young female trailblazers breaking barriers in business, social innovation, and policy.
The conversation brought together a pan-African and diaspora panel including Emma Ochieng (Kenya), Ugbad Nour Abdilahi (Malaysia), Janet Chemtiei (YANGG), and Adja Souadou Mane (YANGG Global Vice President, Senegal). More than a dialogue, “She Leads…” was a rallying call for pan-African female leadership rooted in equity, authenticity, and accountability.
