Following the landmark Africa Climate Summit 2023, the Young Africans Network for Global Goals (YANGG) convened a Twitter Space panel on Thursday, 5 October 2023 to unpack the summit's resolutions and examine what they mean for Africa's future.
Hosted as a “Chat with Kelechi Ndieze,” YANGG's Executive Vice President and Public Policy Analyst, the session brought together a pan-African panel of climate voices: activist Tafadzwa Kurotwi (Zimbabwe), climate and environmental scientist Tenywa Samuel (Uganda), and climate change activist Newton Saisi (Kenya).
Together they highlighted the summit's key resolutions and analysed their potential impact on Africa's environment, economy, and communities — exploring how these commitments align with global climate goals and the practical steps needed to turn resolutions into results.
